Donor Trees for

Garlington Health Center

Portland, Oregon 2018-19

Commission to create three outdoor sculptures for the new Garlington Center. Made from stainless steel, the birds and leaves on each tree have names of key donors and community leaders who helped make this state of the art health facility and adjacent affordable housing apartments a reality. Large bird finials on top of each tree read "community" "hope" and "healing" which are the key values important to this facility. The first two trees were installed in August 2018 prior to the center's opening. The third tree will be installed in spring 2019.

Client: Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare
