This collaged wood box is one of a collection of ten unique pieces I created for my playing card project. It is collaged with hand-cut pieces of vinyl on five sides and has a different bird inside the lid. Inside are two decks of cards, and a tiny pencil and paper.

This box is painted a dark red with wood grain branches surrounding a turquoise and purple bird.  Inside is painted a bright green in the cavity and purple under the lid, with a bird and leaf collage hidden inside. Entire box is sealed with a UV protective varathane layer to increase its durability.
 
Outside measures 3" high and 4.25" wide and deep.
Inside measures 3.75" x 3.75" x 2" high, and is divided into two sections.
Four tiny feet on the bottom slightly elevate the box from the table.
