This one of a kind sculpture incorporates reclaimed maple burl with an aluminum bird pair with reclaimed walnut and padauk wings and embedded multicolored pencils. (The pencils are embedded on all two sides of the base and on the wing fronts.) The last three images with groupings show some of the other birds from this series.
 
It measures about 9 inches high, 5 inches wide and about 2.25 inches deep.
