This one of a kind sculpture incorporates a reclaimed walnut base with an aluminum bird with reclaimed zebrawood wing and embedded multicolored pencils in browns, reds and black. (colored pencils are embedded on both sides of the base and the wing.)  Sculptural grasses, reeds and a flower give the piece a watery setting. 
 
It measures 13 inches high, 4 inches wide and about 3 inches deep.
