This one of a kind sculpture incorporates a piece of reclaimed walnut with an aluminum cat and bird silhouette, bits of reclaimed wenge, purpleheart and beech woods, and embedded multicolored pencils. (The pencils are embedded on both sides of the base. See detail image for close-up of the cat's eyes and bird wing, where the colored pencils are quite unusual.) The last three images with groupings show some of the other sculptures I've made in this series.
 
It measures 14  inches high, 4.5 inches wide and about 2 inches deep.
