One of my more elaborate pieces created for the 2022 Smithsonian Craft Show.  This piece incorporates many pieces of reclaimed wood including high figured maple, walnut, purpleheart, cherry, zebrawood, wenge, padauk, maple burl, greenheart, box elder and ebony.  The front and two sides of the base have a carved surface texture.
 
It measures 29.5 inches high, 6.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep.
 
The last image shows Little Edie paired with a companion piece I made at the same time, which is sold separately.
