This one of a kind sculpture incorporates a reclaimed spalted maple with an aluminum bird with reclaimed padauk wing and embedded multicolored pencils. (similarly colored pencils are embedded on the flat side of the base.) The last three images with groupings show some of the other birds from this series.
 
It measures 9 inches high, 7.5 inches wide and about 2.5 inches deep.
