Epiphytes

This shoulder piece is the first in a series of studies of epiphytes. It fits between the chin and the shoulder. This piece was incorporated into a dance performance for the 2011 Exhibition in Motion at the Bellevue Arts Museum. This event was part of the Society for North American Goldsmiths conference. I made the rings subsequently, and plan to eventually create a body of work that can be incorporated into a dance performance about the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature.
