Points of View was an invitational show of around 40 artists on the theme of “Points of View.” I was asked to be a part of this show during an artist residency at Fiskars earlier in the year. At that residency, I made eight long wall tapestries influenced by music that Christian Bannister had recently shared with me.
Christian selected one of my banners and created a sound piece that reflected what he felt when looking at it. He then created a second sound piece influenced by his first. Then I made a wall installation that was influenced by his final sound piece. All four works were displayed in order of creation.
