This piece incorporates many pieces of reclaimed wood including a padauk base, and the bird is made from walnut, maple, zebrawood and a yellowood beak. The figured wing is made from rosewood. The dots on the wing and back side are inlaid birch. The last image shows a companion piece I made at the same time named Perez.
