This piece incorporates many pieces of reclaimed wood including a walnut base, and the bird is made from possibly walnut, oak, birdseye maple and a black and white ebony beak. The dots on the wings and chest are inlaid birch, oak, cherry and walnut.  A carved feather made from walnut, wire, thread and colored paint extends above her head.
 
It measures 15.5 inches high, 4 inches wide and a little over 2 inches deep.
